iz collects minimal data necessary to provide our service:

• location data: your current location to show nearby traces (not stored permanently)
• account info: email address for authentication
• content: traces you create (text and optional photos)
• usage data: app interactions for service improvement
• analytics data: with consent, page/screen views, feature interactions, store-link clicks, and technical performance events. message content, precise sensitive location, and direct identifiers are not sent as analytics events.

2. how we use your data

• show you traces near your location
• deliver notifications you've enabled
• improve app performance and features
• ensure content moderation and safety

3. data sharing

we do not sell your personal data. we may share data with:

• service providers: hosting, notifications and consented analytics (supabase, expo, google analytics and firebase analytics)
• legal requirements: when required by law

4. data retention

• traces expire after 30 days without interaction
• account data kept until you delete your account
• you can request full data deletion anytime

• access your personal data
• correct inaccurate data
• delete your data

• withdraw consent

we use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure connections, and regular security audits.

7. analytics and cookie choices

on the website, Google Analytics loads only after you choose “accept”. If you reject, analytics storage is not enabled. You can change your choice through cookie preferences or by clearing site data.
